Hello lovely creative souls,
Saint Patrick's Day brings back memories of setting Leprechaun and fairy traps in the woods behind my childhood home and hiding behind a tree waiting for the fairies to eat the treats I so lovingly laid out! There was a time in your life when imagination and creativity were effortless, where time didn't have any meaning, a time before the inner critic born of social and family expectations crashed your party.

I invite you to step back into that carefree imaginal space to become a story explorer who is neither made of nor defined by your story. You are simply the child behind the tree full of imagination and open to possibility and discovery. The goal is not to rehash and relive your soul stories, but instead to see clearly, understand and transform them in a way that brings freedom, insight and forward direction to your life. My classes are an adventure you take in community. No homework, no expectation for you to do anything other other than to show up with an open and curious heart. That’s it!

The rest is on me as your teacher, to guide you into the land of sacred storytelling and self discovery. The Soul Story journey is about you holding hands with YOUR spirit, your heart, and your memories, in a way that will change and transform the stories you tell. I know it’s a tall order in a four week class, but it miraculously happens again and again.

StoryCRAFT: Three week course. Cost: $110
Two Week Class: Sundays April 28 and May 4th. Cost $110
This class will introduce you to my scene driven writing method. Using a scene worksheet as a guide, you’ll visualize the scene, determine what your character wants (desire) and what might block that desire. You’ll identify the turning point or conflict within the scene, and then write a rough draft of your scene. We will write one scene per class. Each class will focus on one aspect of writing craft;  dialogue, characters, plot and setting. The focus of this class is learning to write a scene.

Soul Story Foundation four-week Course *If you are new to Soul Story, this is where you start!
In this storytelling circle we play with story, we don’t force it, we dance with it, we trust our intuition and knowing and go with first thoughts. This is a safe and supportive place to dare, share, unearth, open, trust, be curious, feel held and seen while excavating your stories. No experience of any kind is necessary. This class is a meandering . . . where stories you forgot may pop up, where you learn to trust yourself, to put words and voice to the stories that marked and formed you. If you're going to take a chance and open that box, this is the place to do it! I guarantee this class will change your life in big and small ways or I will issue you a full refund!   * I am offering two classes this Spring, when you sign up choose the ONE that works for you.

Soul Story Journey
Once you've completed Soul Story Foundation (or if you have studied with me in the past), the following courses are intended to be taken in order. Soul Story Origin (who am I), Alchemy (change and growth) and Freedom (heard and honored). You are welcome to repeat any class, and I won't stop you from taking them out of order! I do present the same exercises and topics within a named course, but as you all know, every class is different, the experiences you share impact and transform the class, every visualization and story you choose to explore happens in the moment, so it won't feel like repeating!

Soul Stories Origin: Four Week Course. Cost: $225, limit 6 women
Tuesdays, May 27, June 3, 10, 17 from 6 to 8pm 
Origin explores the question who am I?  What are the stories that bind me, tether, capture, expand do you carry with you each and every day into your current life?

Soul Stories Alchemy: Four Week Course. Cost: $225, limit 6 women
Alchemy is about transformation. We will explore all the ways you've changed and grown, how the stories you carry have transformed your life, and how they continue to inform your current transformation.

I'm super excited to announce my new monthly women's creativity circle. This is a FREE gathering, a place to read your writing, share a project idea, try out a book outline, talk about obstacles. The only rule will be that the sharing is focused on your creative process.
